WHERE FUNCTIONING HUMAN MEETS FUNCTIONING ATHLETE

Connecting evidence-based nutrition to the practical realities of your job, targeting systems that drive performance, recovery, and resilience so you can stay sharp, adaptable, and healthy in and out of uniform.

Some days you feel great.

Others you're dragging through a workout that should've been easy, your gut is doing something weird in the afternoon, and your recovery is always lagging just enough for you to notice.

A woman and a man are on treadmills in a gym. The woman is wearing a black shirt, black pants, sneakers, and a white headband. The man is wearing black workout clothes, a mask, and is running on a treadmill with digital display. There are other gym members in the background, and gym equipment is visible.

You train too hard to feel this average. There is a version of you where:

  • You recover faster and have consistent energy all week long instead of relying on caffeine and Zyn to get through the day.

  • Your gut isn't something you have to think twice about before a hard training day, a long 24 hour shift, or a PT test.

  • You develop a repeatable system and know how to eat when the day goes according to plan...and have a trusted backup plan when it doesn't.

  • You feel stronger, improve your body composition, and lower your risk of the chronic diseases.

  • You're setting yourself up to perform at a high level for the next 10-20 years without sacrificing the goals that matter most outside of the job.

That’s the standard and what we build together.

HI, I'M CALLIE.

I'm a board-certified Sports Dietitian with advanced training in Integrative and Functional Nutrition. I've spent my career working with some of the most demanding athletes on the planet, from US Special Operations Forces to Division I college athletics to endurance runners and mountain athletes who do hard things just for fun.

Having me in your corner means working with someone who blends the current science with real-world, practical performance. It's not just about what's on your plate, but also your training load, sleep, stress, hormones, and how to build a nutrition strategy that actually holds up in real life.

I built Fueling The Force because first responders and service members deserve more than textbook advice or a meal plan spat out by an AI chatbot. No cookie-cutter plans or one-size-fits-all advice found here. Just personalized, performance nutrition strategies built around your body, your training, and the unpredictable demands of your everyday life.
